With the first Pegaxy[1] chapter behind us now…
What did you learn?
I’ll start ⬇️
As someone who never played Axie…
Pegaxy introduced me to the world of
and what bothered me from day 1 was this beggar culture:
“Sir please sir MM ready sir”
So I wrote the Super Scholar Secret[2] and started tweeting to help 50 jockeys
But soon there were way more than 50
And I switched to tmp scholarships
while applying this saying:
➡️ First tell people what they wanna hear…
but then give them what they need
This meant I attracted followers through simple giveaways
…and then shared tips to build their real skills 💪
The more people started reporting that it helped them…
the more I got hooked responding to every message
which quickly became a full-time job 😅
The Pegaxy-Twitter combo created a powerful dopamine rush
Similar to an addictive game 🤔
…but much better because I got a daily dose of REAL human gratitude in return
and didn’t care about my investment anymore
as I was having FUN!!

…coming up with quiz games[3]
…and experiments like our daily relay race[4]
The goal was to create the most valuable pega ever…
having it raced by 1000 different people 🏇
and share the auction proceeds across those 1000 jockeys
But due to the pega overgrowth we ran out of candidates within 49 days…
and that’s when the downturn started 📉
Now that the dust has settled…
I realise how addicted I’d become
which isn’t all bad… since science says it improved my health[5]

And chatting with you all helped me better grasp the P2E problem:
Likely the solution is beyond these games
because too many people have been put in a position where P2E is their main income
and how can a game be fun…
when your child’s next meal depends on token price?
That’s why I also started looking at more sustainable earning opportunities
where people can provide real value
like the Kleros example[6] I shared recently
and then games can be games again 🛝
So what about you? What did you learn?
p.s. if you dumped a pega on my head…
you can still talk to me without having to create a new twitter - I see you 😆❤️

Ex-enterprise solution architect who loved implementing financial systems at banks, retail, govs but got fed up with corporate inefficiencies
After founding a mobile gaming studio I discovered the art of performance marketing and how to easily influence human behavior ❤️
